In a major breakthrough in the ongoing investigation into the untimely death of cultural icon Zubeen Garg, the Assam Police have arrested two key accused Shyamkanu Mahanta, organiser of the North East India Festival (NEIF), and Siddharth Sharma, the late singer’s manager.

Mahanta was taken into custody by Assam Police at Delhi Airport at 12:04 AM upon his arrival from Singapore, while Sharma was arrested at around 1:30 AM in Gurgaon.
