Minnesota Lynx star Napheesa Collier, who finished second in the WNBA in scoring this year at 22.9 points per game, used her exit interview to wrap up the 2025 season on Tuesday to go after WNBA commissioner Cathy Engelbert.

Collier shared a prepared statement that lasted more than 4 minutes as she detailed why she believes Engelbert is doing a poor job of running the WNBA.

Napheesa Collier started by talking about the officiating in the league. Her comments on officiating came after Lynx head coach Cheryl Reeve was fined earlier this week for calling WNBA officiating “[expletive] malpractice.” She also said that there should be “a change of leadership at the league level when it comes to officiating.”

Collier took things a step further.

"The real threat to our league isn’t money.
