EAST LANSING – Michigan State’s offensive line has been a nationally televised game of musical chairs, mixing different personnel and combinations.

Except for Matt Gulbin, who hasn’t left his seat at the middle of the table.

Through four games, the center has played – and made – all 263 offensive snaps for the Spartans, according to Pro Football Focus. That statistic generated a response fitting to how he approaches the game.

“I don’t really think about it like that,” Gulbin said after practice on Tuesday. “We work really hard during the week so I’m ready to play on Saturdays. I’m just doing my job.”
