BURLINGTON, Vt. (ABC22/FOX44) - One person was arrested Tuesday during a coordinated operation in City Hall Park between the BPD Emergency Response Unit, Drug Unit and the Drug Enforcement Administration.

This work was conducted at about 10:30 a.m., and was "part of an ongoing drug investigation focused on suspected activity", Burlington police say. For this operation, BPD reports that controlled purchases were purchased by officers.

Authorities arrested a Burlington resident, 35-year-old Aaron Badeau, who was found to be in possession of suspected crack cocaine. The alleged amount was also a felony quantity.

Additional illegal drugs were taken from Decker Towers after a search warrant was obtained. Officers say that Badeau was using a residence there in his drug operation.
