A Canadian High will descend south into our neck of the woods overnight through Thursday morning. That large sinking motion in the atmosphere provided by the high will help to settle down the winds while also keeping our skies clear. Starry skies and calm breezes will allow a lot of heat to escape by Thursday morning with lows in the 20s to middle 30s. A freeze warning is in effect until 8 AM Thursday for areas that plunge into the 20s. A frost advisory is in effect until 8 AM for areas that dip into the lower/middle 30s. Within the gray areas on the map, that's where growing season has already come to an end.
