Welcome to October! Plan on our weather staying much warmer than normal for a while. The average high is 65 degrees - and the first five days of the month will range 10 to 25 degrees above that. In fact, Friday, Saturday and Sunday will be close to record highs which we will keep an eye on.

If you are looking for a little rain, we might have to wait for many days. We are eyeing up a cold front Sunday night into early Monday morning that will bring most communities a bit of rain. This could be a thin line of rain, so accumulations will be on the light side. The impact will be felt more behind the front with highs in the 60s to follow.
