Shreyas Iyer is the captain of the India A team, and in the ongoing first unofficial ODI against Australia A at Green Park Stadium in Kanpur, he needed just 75 balls to complete his century. The cricketer from Mumbai came out to bat at No. 3 for the hosts after Priyansh Arya (101 runs from 84 balls) and Prabhsimran Singh (56 runs from 53 balls) added 135 runs in 20.3 overs for the first wicket and crossed the 100-run mark in the 44th over of India’s innings.

Before getting out in the 47th over of India A’s innings, Iyer faced a total of 83 balls and, with the help of 12 fours and 4 sixes, scored 110 runs.
