CLEVELAND, Ohio (WOIO) - The Cleveland Browns announced rookie Dillon Gabriel will be the starting quarterback this Sunday.

This will be Gabriel’s first NFL start at quarterback, after being named the backup quarterback on Aug. 26.

Gabriel also played in Game 2 against the Baltimore Ravens and Game 4 against the Detroit Lions.

The Browns will take on the Minnesota Vikings this Sunday in London. The team will travel there Wednesday.

18-year veteran Joe Flacco was the starting quarterback for the first four games this season and completed 93 of 160 passing attempts for 815 passing yards and two touchdowns.

The Browns currently have a 1-3 record.
