Iconic rock band The Cure announced a string of 2026 dates including a huge gig at Wythenshawe Park in summer next year.
The legendary rock band, known for hits like Friday I'm In Love, Boys Don't Cry and Just Like Heaven, announced this week a string of dates which will see them perform in Dublin, Belfast, Manchester and Edinburgh next summer.
Fronted by Robert Smith, the band first formed in 1976 and have become a significant part of the post-punk and new wave scenes. Their 14th album, Songs of a Lost World, was released last year and marked their first new material in 16 years.
The Cure's 2026 tour will be the first time the band released the 2024 album and the tour will begin at Dublin's Marley Park on June 26 and will include a show at Wythenshawe Park on July
