GULFPORT, Miss. (WLOX) - Taylor Swift fans in South Mississippi can celebrate the release of her 12th studio album, “ The Life of a Showgirl , ” at the Gulfport Sportsplex on Friday, October 3.

“We’re turning the Sportsplex into the Swiftplex,” said marketing manager George “Chuck” Patterson.

" Swiftplex: A Fan Celebration “ is where fans of all ages can come together to sing, dance, and relive the eras that defined a generation.

The event includes friendship bracelet-making stations, cookie decorating, karaoke, trivia, and a photo booth.

There will also be a costume contest where fans dress up as their favorite era.

Of course, the playlist will include all of Taylor Swift’s hit songs.
