DELEON SPRINGS, Fla. – A new roundabout is now open at the intersection of U.S. 17/State Road 15 and Spring Garden Avenue/Spring Garden Ranch Road in DeLeon Springs, according to the Florida Department of Transportation.

The project, aimed at improving both traffic flow and safety, brings operational changes to one of the area’s busiest intersections. The roundabout was supposed to open in August and is now open.

Signage will be in place to guide motorists through the new traffic pattern, and drivers are urged to stay alert as the community adjusts to the change.

Today, I’ll be visiting the location to give you a closer look at how this new roundabout will impact travel in and around DeLeon Springs.
