Andrew Browne will be tasked with resurrecting the fortunes of the Ireland U-20s this season after last year’s crop finished bottom of the Six Nations and narrowly avoided the same fate at the World Championships.
Last season’s coach, Neil Doak, will no longer be involved, with the former Connacht second-row Browne stepping up from his role as an assistant to lead a management team that includes Leinster Academy coach Kieran Hallett, IRFU scrum coach Seamus Toomey and the IRFU’s elite player pathway chief Michael Hodge assisting.
