INDIANAPOLIS -- "The Maniac" will have his moment.

Shaquille Leonard, the dynamic linebacker drafted by Indianapolis in 2018, plans to retire as member of the Colts.

The six-year veteran spent the bulk of his career with the Horseshoe. Injuries derailed his promising career. The team will honor him during Sunday's game against the Las Vegas Raiders.

Leonard will strike the anvil before the game and make some retirement remarks at halftime.

Nicknamed "The Maniac," Leonard was a second-round pick (36th overall selection) in the 2018 NFL Draft out of South Carolina State. He appeared in 70 games (68 starts) for the Colts, racking up 614 tackles (385 solo), 32.0 tackles for loss, 15.0 sacks, 31 passes defensed, 12 interceptions (one returned for a touchdown), 17 forced fumbles and seven fu
