The USDA is warning consumers not to eat certain frozen meals sold at Walmart and Trader Joe’s because they may be contaminated with listeria.

According to a Sept. 25 health notice , federal health officials have issued a health alert for Trader Joe’s Cajun Style Blackened Chicken Breast Fettuccine Alfredo sold in 16-ounce plastic trays with the “Best by” dates Sept. 20, Sept. 24 and Sept. 27. Officials have also issued an alert for 12-oz. clear plastic tray packages labeled Marketside Linguine with Beef Meatballs & Marinara Sauce sold at Walmart. The products have six “best if used by” dates: Sept. 22, Sept. 24, Sept. 25, Sept. 29, Sept. 30, and Oct.1.
