MEMPHIS, Tenn. (WREG) -- In a matter of just two days, U.S. Attorney General Pamela Bondi said the Memphis Task Force has made 53 arrests and confiscated 20 firearms from Memphis streets in a social media post Wednesday morning.
She also mentioned that a minor who went missing was found and that three weapons were recovered from the home of an alleged murder suspect.
In a social media post from Tuesday morning, she stated nine arrests were made and only two guns were seized following the deployment of 13 agencies, including the National Guard and 300 more troopers to the city on Monday.
Bondi also announced Tuesday that she and the Secretary of War, Pete Hegseth, will be coming to Memphis this week in an interview with Fox News.
