MEMPHIS, Tenn. (WMC) - Memphis Safe Task Force is underway and arrests have already been made, according to Attorney General Pamela Bondi.
Bondi said on X Tuesday morning, nine arrests were made and two illegal firearms were taken off the streets within the first day of the Memphis Safe Task Force operation.
Bondi continued to say that nearly 220 officers were ‘special deputized,’ and the operations center is up and running.
