MEMPHIS, Tenn. -- Seven arrests were made this week by Tennessee Highway Patrol (THP) troopers after Gov. Bill Lee announced last Friday that an additional 300 troopers would be sent to Memphis, according to the Shelby County Sheriff's Office.
According to data from the Shelby County Sheriff's Office, last Monday and Tuesday, THP arrested one suspect.
And on September 15 and 16, THP reported no arrests, and they also made no arrests were made on September 8 and 9.
The Shelby County jail system showed seven people in custody: Jaquavious Carter, Mardricus Letran Curry, Marquarius D. Davis, Zachary Patterson, Miguel Angel Turrubia Tes Salas, Edgar Rivera Villareal and Maurice L. Wiggins.
