MOSES LAKE, Wash. -- The Moses Lake Police Department is investigating an incident where middle school students reported a person threatened them with a gun.
According to the school district, cross country students from Frontier and Endeavor middle schools were out on a training run Tuesday afternoon around 4 p.m.
Police say while running near Milwaukee Avenue and Montlake Park, the students reported a man in a vehicle had threatened them with a gun.
Police officers and deputies with the Grant County Sheriff's Office responded and launched a drone to canvass the area and look for a suspect. MLPD says multiple people were contacted in the area. One person matched the description provided by students but was determined to not be involved.
