New Delhi: Javelin thrower Sumit Antil won the gold medal at the World Para Athletics Championships 2025 in New Delhi with a new Championship Record of 71.27m on his last attempt, achieving victory on home soil and marking a massive milestone in his inspirational journey.

Following the historic performance in the national capital on Tuesday, Antil became India’s most successful para-athlete in the World Championships. This was his third title in the World Championships, following victories in Paris 2023 and Kobe 2024.
