SAO PAULO, Oct 1 (Reuters) – Brazil's oil and gas production hit 5.08 million barrels of oil equivalent per day (boed) in August, remaining above the key level of 5 million boed reached for the first time the previous month, oil regulator ANP said in a statement on Wednesday. Oil output reached 3.896 million barrels per day in the month, up 16.6% year-on-year, while natural gas production rose 18.2% to 188.9 million cubic meters per day, ANP added.
