KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- The Kansas Highway patrol is reminding drivers to ditch distractions after a driver crashed into the back of a school bus in Douglas County.
According to KHP, students were about to get onto a stopped school bus in Douglas County near U.S. 56 and K-33 when a driver did not stop and rear-ended the bus.
Sixteen children were on the bus at the time of the crash, according to a post from the Troop B Facebook page. No one on the bus was injured.
