Airdrie have signed winger Jake Hastie from Ayr United on an initial four-month loan deal, before the move becomes permanent.
The 26-year-old came through the Motherwell youth academy and joined Rangers, but only played a handful of first-team games for the Ibrox club, as he was sent out on a series of loan moves.
Hastie then joined Hartlepool United, but was sent to Hamilton Accies on loan, before joining Scott Brown's Ayr United.
The winger made his senior debut for Airdrie while on loan from Motherwell and he told the club's media: "It feels brilliant to be back. I enjoyed my first spell here when I was younger.
