DETROIT — The Detroit Pistons’ Ausar Thompson and Ron Holland are ready to make teams work all day long against them.

It’s literally written on their jerseys: “9 to 5.”

That’s the message from the young duo as Thompson, sporting No. 9, and Holland, who switched from No. 00 to No. 5 this offseason, are eager to share the court more and cause chaos from “9 to 5″.

“I remember when (Holland) got drafted, they were talking about some nine to five and, you know, I truly believe that. There’s no breaks here,” Thompson said at the Pistons’ media day on Monday. “So just being able to cause chaos and turn it into offense, make those fast breaks and just be able to get as many stops in a row and in general, I feel like when we’re on the court, you know, that’s what we bring to the team.
