LEE COUNTY, Ala. (WTVM) - The Lee County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a deadly mobile home fire on Tuesday in the Beulah Community.

Lee County Coroner Daniel Sexton identified the victim as 34-year-old Kasey Hartley. She was pronounced dead at 5:45 p.m. CST after being pulled from her residence.

Lee County deputies and fire officials responded to the fire on 8100 block of Lee Road 252. According to Sheriff Jay Jones, the victim was unresponsive when she was rescued from the home, and first responders made multiple attempts to save her before she was pronounced dead.

Deputies are working to determine the circumstances of this incident. Hartley’s body will be sent to the Alabama Department of Forensic Sciences in Montgomery.
