CROSS COUNTRY: GLENN DUO LEADS WAY

Henry Schanbeck and Leif Briggs-Lind broke the 18-minute mark a few weeks ago.

And they don’t plan on going back above it.

The duo led the way for John Glenn at the Birch Run Fall Invitational, becoming regulars in the 17-minute range along the way. Both have posted sub-18:00 times the past three outings.

“(We) are in great shape to post some season-best times and peak at the right point in the season,” Glenn coach Ted Lind said.

Schanbeck (17:22.88) set the pace for the Bobcats in 19th place while Briggs-Lind (17:26.55) finished 22n
