FRANKLIN, Va. — After a long manhunt for the wanted suspect in Franklin, Tashawnda Drayton has officially pleaded guilty to the 2023 murder of a 10-year-old boy.

Drayton pleaded guilty on Tuesday to second-degree murder charges in the shooting death of Le'Marj Holden.

The shooting happened on August 9, 2023, when investigators said four people arrived at a 37-year-old man's home in Franklin, where he and Drayton got into an altercation. The fight escalated into Drayton opening fire, hitting both the man and Le'Marj. The man was injured, while the boy died.

Drayton, who goes by the rap name 23 BRAZY, went into hiding after the shooting but was later arrested by U.S. Marshals in June 2024. She was originally charged with first-degree murder before pleading to a second-degree murder char
