HOLYOKE, Mass. (WWLP) - A suspect wanted in connection with a shooting on Pine Street in Holyoke was captured Tuesday night.
In a news release from Holyoke Police Chief Brian Keenan, at around 4:40 p.m. last Saturday, officers were called to the area of 291 Pine Street for a ShotSpotter activation. Upon arrival, officers located shell casings, property damage, and were told that a bullet had nearly struck a bystander.
No one was injured however, detectives identified the shooting suspect as 31-year-old Andrew Brito of Holyoke and issued a warrant for his arrest.
