BERNALILLO COUNTY, N.M. (KRQE) — A health alert has been issued in the Albuquerque-Bernalillo County area on Wednesday morning due to dust in industrial areas. The alert was put into effect at 10 a.m. It's expected to last through 12 p.m.

Anyone with respiratory conditions is advised to limit outdoor activity while the alert is in place. City officials recommend the public take these steps during health alerts: • "Limit your time spent outdoors and avoid outdoor exercise • Schools and senior citizen facilities may want to provide indoor activities to minimize exposure to elevated outdoor particulate levels • Keep windows and doors closed.
