FAIRVIEW PARK, Ohio — El Vaquero Mexican Restaurant has arrived in Northeast Ohio, opening its newest location at Westgate Shopping Center in late September. The Fairview Park restaurant is the brand’s 23rd overall and its first in Greater Cleveland.

Known for sizzling fajitas, handcrafted margaritas and signature “on-the-range” dining style, El Vaquero is introducing its made-from-scratch Mexican cuisine to local diners. The menu spans appetizers, à la carte options, hearty combination plates and indulgent desserts inspired by traditional recipes.

El Vaquero was founded more than three decades ago, when owners Efrain Quezada and Fernando Morales opened their first restaurant on Riverside Drive in Upper Arlington, Ohio.

The new restaurant is at 3120 Westgate Mall Drive, Fairview Park.
