Nashville is joining Amazon Web Services' Skills to Jobs Tech Alliance, which aims to build a pipeline of tech talent in the regions where it operates.

Valerie Singer, the general manager of global education at Amazon Web Services, said while tech job postings in Middle Tennessee have surged since 2020, so have skill gaps in areas like AI.

The partnership aims for employers to work with area universities to bridge that gap by adjusting their curricula.
