SACRAMENTO, Calif. —

A Mediterranean celebration is making its return to Sacramento this weekend.

The 62nd annual Sacramento Greek Festival, featuring authentic Greek food, wine, performances, and more takes place Friday through Sunday at the Greek Orthodox Church, located at 616 Alhambra Boulevard. The main entrance for the event is on F Street.

The festival runs from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Friday and Saturday and 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Sunday.

Admission is $3 on Friday from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. or free if you bike over. Otherwise, admission costs $5.

Kids ages 12 and under are free.

Stephania Panayotopoulos and several special guests joined KCRA 3 on Tuesday to share more about the event.
