The Mallaghan Shamrock Classic Charity Golf Tournament will return to White Oak Golf Club in Newnan on Friday, Oct. 17, marking its fourth year of raising funds for suicide prevention and local nonprofit organizations.

Presented by Delta Air Lines, Averest and Waters Trucks, the tournament honors Shane MacMahon, a young Mallaghan team member who died by suicide.

In 2024, the event generated $24,000 to support mental health awareness and suicide prevention efforts through the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention and other community partners.

This year’s beneficiaries include the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention, BYRD House, Frayed Edges Foundation and the Hunter Scarbrough Foundation.
