At 12:58 p.m. on Wednesday, the National Weather Service issued a frost advisory valid for Thursday between midnight and 8 a.m. for Schenectady and Saratoga counties.
The weather service says to be ready for, "Temperatures as low as 33 degrees will result in frost formation."
"Frost and/or cold temperatures could harm sensitive outdoor vegetation. Sensitive outdoor plants may be killed if left uncovered," describes the weather service. "Take steps now to protect tender plants from the cold."
