Making New York City more resilient to climate change will be a top priority for the next mayor.

The city currently aims to cut emissions 40% below 2005 levels by 2030 and achieve a 100% clean energy grid by 2040.

Daniel Zarrilli, former climate adviser under Mayors Michael Bloomberg and Bill de Blasio, joined “The Rush Hour” Wednesday to discuss the mayor’s role in reaching these ambitious goals.
