Kelsey Mitchell needed assistance getting to the floor midway through the third quarter of the Fever's Game 5 loss at the Aces on Tuesday night.

Players from both teams surrounded her and held up towels to give her privacy. She walked off the court and was cheered on by fans and greeted by Aces players.

The injury ended what was a breakthrough campaign for the veteran. Mitchell was a WNBA MVP finalist.

LAS VEGAS — Kelsey Mitchell has been released from a Las Vegas-area hospital after experiencing extreme cramping and getting fluids on Tuesday night, the Indiana Fever announced Wednesday morning.
