LENOIR COUNTY, N.C. (WITN) - Rachel Noble, a 2025 graduate of South Lenoir High School, has been named a U.S. Presidential Scholar, making her one of only three students from North Carolina to receive the honor this year.
The U.S. Presidential Scholars Program recognizes outstanding high school seniors for their achievements in academics, the arts, and career and technical education.
During her time at South Lenoir High, Noble juggled academics, athletics, competitive dance, and leadership in the Future Farmers of America. She is the first student from Lenoir County Public Schools to receive the award.
Now a student at NC State University on a full-ride Park Scholarship, Noble is majoring in Agricultural Business Management. She plans to pursue a law degree and become an agricultural la
