Newnan-Coweta Habitat for Humanity hosted its first-ever Blessing on the Beam ceremony Sept. 26, marking a milestone at the organization’s newest home build on the site of the former Coweta County Fire Station 12.
The event brought together community leaders, volunteers, and supporters to join future homeowner Kyle Kimpel and her family in celebrating progress on the project.
Guests were invited to write blessings, prayers, and words of encouragement on the beams of the home, creating what Habitat leaders called a “lasting foundation of love and support.”
