TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) - Many agencies and organizations in the capital city are closely monitoring how the federal government shutdown could impact the community.

In an email to WCTV on Wednesday, Second Harvest of the Big Bend said, "since this is the first day, we do not know what the impacts will be at this time."

Courts will continue operating until Oct. 17, according to a press release from the Federal Courts of the United States.

As of Wednesday afternoon, the Tallahassee International Airport says it is not experiencing any operational impacts from the shutdown.
