BELMONT COUNTY, Ohio (WTRF) — Every household is faced with things they no longer need but aren't permitted to throw in the trash.

This weekend, Belmont and Jefferson County residents can get rid of hazardous waste for free, and without stepping out of their cars.

It can be anything from motor oil and antifreeze to pesticides, batteries, paint, and pool chemicals.

Just bring them to the Belmont County Fairgrounds on Saturday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

And there's an *electronics* collection at the same site, one day earlier.

Friday from 9 to 2, you can take all of your electronics that you have in your basement to your garage. This is your opportunity to get rid of all this material for free. We take everything from TVs, flat screens, tubes, laptops, computers, anything electronic."
