SENECA, Kan. (KCTV) - Beckett Holthaus has been through more challenges in his nine years than most people face in a lifetime, but the Seneca, Kansas, native isn’t letting anything slow him down on the playing field.

Born with two rare limb differences affecting his hip and leg, Beckett had his foot and ankle amputated when he turned 1.

Today, he’s an active athlete who plays multiple sports thanks to a specially designed prosthetic from Shriners Children’s St. Louis.

“I play football. I play a little bit of basketball.” Beckett said. “I used to play soccer. I do wrestling without my leg and baseball. Love baseball.”

The die-hard Chiefs fan knew the exact design he wanted on his latest prosthetic: Chiefs logos, pennants and helmets.
