NEW ORLEANS — The New Orleans Police Department is investigating a homicide in the Little Woods.

Police say the incident happened in the 12900 block of Ashland Drive around 5:43 p.m. Wednesday.

When officers arrived, they found a man suffering from a gunshot wound. He was pronounced dead on the scene.
