HENDERSON, Ken. (WFIE) - Henderson leaders are hoping to help students understand the importance of trade jobs throughout this month.

Henderson Economic Development has started Manufacturing Academy Tours for Henderson County High School Career Tech students.

Today, students got to tour Pittsburg tank and tower.

They showed them their facility and procedures when working with welding products.

One of the tour guides says they love when students come to see their work.

Officials say more tours are scheduled, and the next one is October 15th.
