EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WFIE) - A heavy police presence has been reported at Eastland Apartments, and a neighbor says they have guns drawn at a complex.

A neighbor sent us photos of multiple police cars and an officer holding a gun on a tripod at a nearby complex building.

They say the area is taped off, and multiple police cruisers are on the scene.

Dispatch confirmed an incident was called in around 6:00 p.m. this evening and that police were still on scene, but were unable to provide more information.

At around 8:00 p.m., the neighbor says they heard an explosion, and our crew says they also heard a loud bang around the same time.

We are working to gather more information.
