Former Detroit Pistons guard Quentin Grimes has signed a one-year, $8.7 million qualifying offer with the Philadelphia 76ers, according to a report from ESPN.
This will end a long negotiating process for Grimes to return to Philadelphia after a breakout stint with the team at the end of last season.
Grimes, 25, played in just six games with the Pistons during the 2023-24 season, following a trade with the New York Knicks that sent Bojan Bogdanović and Alec Burks to the Knicks in exchange for Grimes, Ryan Arcidiacono, Malachi Flynn, Evan Fournier and two second-round picks.
