The San Diego Poodle Club held a puppy match recently at the Presidio Community Center. Only poodles under 12-months of age were allowed in the match with the majority of the 36-entries coming from the San Diego area. Other poodle pups came from Los Angles, and surrounding Southern California communities. Trophies were awarded to the owners of outstanding poodles in the poised, miniature, and standard divisions. The award for the best puppy in the match went to Mrs. Helen Tracy of La Mesa for her black miniature pup. The Poodle Club of San Diego was founded in 1958 and is comprised of about 60 active members. Mrs. Patricia Ericson is president of the club, which presents four poodle shows annually.
