EUGENE — An Oregon defensive back is expected to be OK after leaving last week’s win at Penn State.

Nickel safety Daylen Austin went to the locker room before halftime of last week’s game with an apparent arm injury after landing awkwardly while breaking up a pass with 1:25 to go in the first half. The redshirt-sophomore did not return and played a season-low 10 snaps, including just four on defense.

“I think he’s going to be in good shape,” Oregon coach Dan Lanning said. “It’s been something that’s bothered him in a couple of games this year, but I think he’s going to be good.”
