One Nation leader Pauline Hanson has torn into Prime Minister Anthony Albanese for refusing to make time for a meeting with Nigel Farage, who a new poll suggests is in line to become the UK's next Prime Minister.

Mr Albanese did not make time to meet the Reform UK leader during his recent trip to the United Kingdom, despite holding meetings with Prime Minister Keir Starmer and the country's Conservative Party leader Kemi Badenoch.

Farage confirmed in an interview with Sky News host Paul Murray on Tuesday that he had heard nothing from the Australian Prime Minister, who he said had made it "very, very clear that he wanted nothing to do with me".
