Interstate 395 North in Thompson is closed due to a motor vehicle crash Wednesday night.

The CT Department of Transportation said the highway is closed between exits 50 and 53.

East Putnam fire officials said they are assisting at the scene. The crash was reported around 9:20 p.m.

It's unknown if there are any injuries or when the highway will reopen.
