PARK CITY, Utah (ABC4) - For 40 years, the National Ability Center has been making the impossible, possible. Each day, people who face challenges and disabilities get the chance to adventure just like everyone else.
Nestled in the beauty of Park City, the National Ability Center’s 26-acre campus holds the keys to inclusivity and accessibility.
Tracy Meier has worked at the NAC for over 20 years, and she put it pretty simply, “I always like to say there is really no excuse. We have the people, we have the facilities, and we have the equipment to make it possible.”
Meier uses her experience with adaptive recreation to make 21 different programs possible.
Meier continued, “Everything is accessible, so we can take anyone up on this course, any one down the hill, down the river.”
