Update: Pennsylvania State Police said one person was found dead directly outside the home.

A house fire in rural Cumberland County on Wednesday afternoon prompted a response from the coroner’s office and Pennsylvania State Police.

County 911 dispatchers said the fire started just before 4 p.m. at a home on the 500 block of Grahams Wood Road in Upper Frankford Township.

Multiple fire trucks, EMS vehicles, and state police units were seen along Grahams Wood Road, which was closed at the intersection of Kissme Road.

It is unclear what caused the fire. A trooper in the area told PennLive that state police will remain on-scene for an extended period.

Around 9:10 p.m., Pennsylvania State Police requested non-emergency manpower at the home after the flames rekindled.
